We have been involved with the Lupus Foundation of America since Pat's diagnosis in 1997. We have taken advantage of valuable support group meetings, attended wonderful education presentations and enjoyed great events such as the annual Chili Cook-Off and Strike Out Lupus. We have made many friends through the LFA over the years who have offered friendship, support and health information.

Pat takes handfuls of toxic medication every day to suppress his immune system, control inflammation and control his lupus. Although he may not look sick, he battles lupus on a daily basis. Pat is fortunate that he is able to live a "normal" life---working, coaching soccer and being a great dad. We are thankful for every day he is "well."

Pat, Michelle, Andrew and Colin would be honored to have you join us on Saturday, September 13th to support the Lupus Foundation of America. Many of our dear friends---including pre-school and elementary school children--walked with us last year in this great event. Please consider joining us for this 3 mile walk in the park!
